Compare your debt service ratio before and after a new monthly repayment.
What you need

- Existing housing repayments (RM)
- Car repayments (RM)
- Personal loan repayments (RM)
- Credit card monthly commitment (RM) — Enter the monthly amount counted by your lender, not your outstanding card balance. Card assessment methods vary.
- Other monthly debt (RM) — Include PTPTN, BNPL, non-bank instalments and other debt repayments not entered above.
- Proposed new monthly repayment (RM) — Enter 0 to assess current debts only. Do not also include this payment in existing debts.
- Planning DSR limit (%)
Assumptions and scope
- DSR = monthly debt repayments / net monthly income × 100. All repayments must use the same monthly period.
- Your planning limit is an editable assumption, not a universal bank threshold or a lending decision. Income treatment and commitment assessment vary by lender.
- Income remaining excludes living costs, savings, insurance and other non-debt expenses. This calculator does not determine loan approval.
